Catalyst is a locally owned and operated furniture restoration shop in Grayslake IL, specializing in antique and modern wood furniture repair and refinishing. From regluing loose chairs, to full restoration of entire dining room sets and everything in between, we do it all!

Old finishes are meticulously stripped by hand in the traditional way; no dipping, so as to best maintain the integrity of the piece. Each stain and finish is custom mixed or adjusted to meet your vision and the needs of the project, and topcoats used are the most trusted commercial finishes in the business.
